The lower carbon status of Kerabit Neo (formely Kerabit Nature®) products is achieved, among other things, by replacing part of the traditional raw materials with renewable and recycled raw materials. Apart from environmental impact, the characteristics of the products correspond to the analogous basic products. We are especially careful about the waterproofing properties – we don’t compromise on them!
Kerabit LESSNOX Neo is a torchable multi-layer top membrane for multiple roofing that breaks up the hazardous nitric oxides.
The carrier consists of polyester felting. The bottom surface of the product is coated with torch-on modified bitumen and the top surface with light grey slate.
This product can be used as the top membrane of a multi-layer membrane.
We do not have an environmental product declaration for Kerabit LESSNOX Neo, therefore we cannot compare the emissions during the manufacture of this product with the national emissions database.
We have improved the Kerabit LESSNOX Neo membrane
The thinner and more easily melting protective plastic film and the grooves on the bottom surface allow for a faster and more secure installation.
The protective plastic film is only partially attached to the torch-on bitumen, thanks to the grooves. Therefore, it melts faster and more reliably than traditional plastic films fully connected to the bitumen, reducing the heat and gas required in the installation. The product’s adhesive properties have also been improved.
