Kerabit 5000 TOP FR

Kerabit 5000 TOP FR is a fire-protected torchable (K-PS 220/5000 torch-on) top membrane of product category 2 for multi-layer roofing. The product is suitable for use e.g. in structures where PIR thermal insulation is used as the insulation material. The table below shows the approved constructions.

Kerabit 5000 TOP FR has a reinforced polyester felt as a carrier. The bottom surface of the product features modified torch-on bitumen, and the top surface slate granules.

The product colour is grey. Kerabit 5000 TOP FR is made to order.

Handling and storage

Modified bitumen membranes are stored on pallets in a dry and cool place in an upright position. The rolls must be protected with plastic hoods or tarps. In temperatures over +40 °C, the rolls must be stored away from sunlight.

The product is used as a top membrane for multi-layer roofing.
